Featured work

Three businesses. Three sites. All live.

Not mockups or concepts — these are real businesses, running in production. One is built to bring in enquiries, one to show finished work, one to take orders. Scroll through any of them, or open it and judge it properly.

WeeJob Joinery

Joiner · Crieff, Perthshire

Built for enquiries

A one-page site built to turn a phone full of job photos into enquiries.

Live preview

1440 × 900 · scroll to explore

WeeJob is a joiner who takes the jobs bigger firms turn down. The site had to say that in the first second, and then make it effortless to get in touch — most visitors arrive on a phone, standing in the room that needs the work.

It is a single page, hand-built with no framework and no dependencies, so it loads almost instantly. The enquiry form takes photos of the job straight from the camera roll, and a sticky call bar follows the visitor down the page.

Photo enquiry form
Multiple job photos upload with the enquiry. Submits without a page reload, and still works with JavaScript switched off.
Built for local search
LocalBusiness and FAQ structured data, canonical URLs, sitemap and Open Graph tags — so it can rank for the towns it covers.
Fast on mobile data
Every photo served as WebP with a JPEG fallback, and a sticky call button that never leaves the screen.
Brand from the logo out
Navy, cream and gold sampled from the client's own logo, with the gold rationed so it still means something.

Brock Contracts

Joiners & building contractors · Crieff

Built to show the work

A project portfolio the client can add to themselves, without touching the design.

Live preview

1440 × 900 · scroll to explore

Brock Contracts are third-generation joiners and building contractors. The work is the sales pitch, so the site is built around a growing portfolio of finished projects rather than a list of services.

Adding a project means dropping photos in a folder and filling in one block in a single data file. The homepage preview, the filterable projects index and every individual project page all build themselves from it.

One file to update
Every project page, card and category filter reads from a single data file. No CMS to pay for, no build step to run.
Filterable project index
Categories appear as filter buttons only once a project uses them, so the page never shows an empty tab.
Photography-led design
Full-bleed hero photography behind a scrim, a gallery lightbox with captions, and a graceful placeholder wherever a photo has not been added yet.
Considered typography
A fluid type scale with no breakpoint jumps, generous spacing, and contrast checked to WCAG AA throughout.

Timber & Flame

Firewood supplier · Crieff, Perthshire

Built to take orders

A working shop for a local firewood business — prices, delivery and a real order, not a brochure.

1440 × 900 · scroll to explore

Timber & Flame sells seasoned firewood, kindling, road salt and pickup loads around Crieff, and already runs an honesty stand. The site had to make the prices obvious, explain delivery without a phone call, and let someone place an order — without pretending the stand had stopped mattering.

Customers add a bag or a load to a basket, check a postcode, and place the order in three steps. It is saved, numbered and emailed to the business and the customer. Nothing is paid on the site: order now, settle later, which is how a supplier this size actually sells. Prices, photos and delivery zones are changed in a private admin, and the server recalculates every total.

A real ordering flow
Shop, basket and a three-step checkout — your details, delivery, then review. The confirmation says the order was received. It never says it was paid.
Delivery that doesn't guess
A Crieff postcode shows delivery included. Outside Crieff the charge is left to be confirmed, not invented. The basket and the server use the same rule.
The honesty stand, explained
What is stocked, how to pay at the stand, and a clear line that stand prices are separate from an online order.
The owner can run it
Products, prices, photos, delivery zones and order status live in a private admin. Change a price there and the next order uses it.

Let's build something

What I build

Four things,
done properly.

Every one designed and coded from scratch — responsive, quick to load, and easy for you to keep up to date.

Not sure which you need? Ask
  • Enquiry sites

For a trade that lives on the phone. A clear offer, proof of the work, and a way to get in touch that still works while someone is standing in the room.

  • Portfolio sites

For a business whose finished work does the selling. Photography first, and a structure the owner can add to without breaking the design.

  • Shops & ordering

For a local business that sells something. Prices up front, a basket, delivery a customer can understand, and an order that actually reaches the owner.

  • Landing pages

One page, one job. Built to load fast and turn a visit into a call, a form, or an order.

How it works

From first message to a site that's live.

Clear packages to start from, a confirmed price before any work begins, and no surprises after you've agreed.

  1. Tell me about the business

What you do, who your customers are, and what the site needs to achieve — more enquiries, showing off finished work, or taking orders.

  2. An honest answer and a price

I come back to you directly: whether I can help, which package fits, and what it would cost. You know the price before anything is built, and a 50% deposit secures your project.

  3. Designed and built from scratch

No template and no page builder. You talk to the person writing the code the whole way through, so nothing is lost in a handover.

  4. Launched, and yours to keep

The remaining balance is due before launch. The site then goes live, the code lives in your repository, and you get a plain-English guide to keeping it up to date.

About PeakSwift

A small studio,
and that's the point.

PeakSwift is one person: I design the site, I write the code, and I'm the one you email when you want something changed. There is no team to pretend otherwise about.

What that buys you is directness. Decisions happen in a phone call rather than a meeting, and the site gets built to suit your business instead of whatever template was closest.

Every site above was built end to end that way — design, copy structure, code, hosting, and a plain way for the owner to keep them current.

  • You talk to the person building it

No account manager, no handover, nothing lost in the middle. You describe the problem to the person who solves it.

  • Written, not assembled

No page builder, no bought theme. That is why these sites load quickly and why nothing on them is there by accident.

  • Yours to keep

The code lives in your repository and deploys on push. Every site comes with a plain-English guide to updating it.
